Adopt a Risso's Dolphin

Support our work by adopting a Manx Risso’s dolphin for yourself or a loved one

Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch (MWDW) has been at the forefront of marine mammal science on the Isle of Man since 2006.
We work voluntarily year round to ensure the safeguarding of whales, dolphins, and porpoises (cetaceans) in Manx territorial waters through non-invasive research and public awareness efforts.

Hi everyone. We have had LOTS of sightings coming in over recent weeks so here's a little reminder to please report directly to our website, even if you are unsure on species we will contact you. It is becoming increasingly difficult to sort through all sightings that come in via facebook messenger and especially as a comment to a post. The latter are so easily overlooked due to lack of FB notification. With our reduced man power this year due to no Dolphineers, it takes hours to write to people on Facebook to get all the information required to log a sighting. By filling out a simple form we gain all the info required and will contact you if you need more. So, I am attaching it to the comments on this post, no need to register. Thank you for helping us during this time 🙂 ... See MoreSee Less
