Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch (MWDW) has been at the forefront of marine mammal science on the Isle of Man since 2006.
We work voluntarily year round to ensure the safeguarding of whales, dolphins, and porpoises (cetaceans) in Manx territorial waters through non-invasive research and public awareness efforts.

We are so excited for our whale and dolphin extravaganza to return to the Villa in August and are delighted to welcome our funders on board. The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company are supporting the travel costs for Andy of the Whale Workshop to bring over his life-size marine creatures. The Welbeck Hotel are generosity accommodating Andy during his time on island, allowing for a comfortable and pleasant stay close to the venue. Tesco Groundwork Bags of Help have granted us financial support to cover the venue costs. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped so far. We still have a long way to go and are on the look out for sponsors to help with the Whale Roadshow’s daily fees as well as costs incurred in advertising the event. If any corporates would like to offer their support, please get in touch and we can discuss the many ways MWDW can advertise your assistance and work with your staff going forward. Please help us share this event far and wide and join us for whale will be an exiting, engaging and educational event. #thebigsplash

It's a Sea Watch day! Dust off those cobwebs and join us at the sound for a spot of spotting as we look for porpoises, dolphins, seals and possibly whales and basking sharks. Fingers crossed we will be there before the rain sets in. We start at 11 and will be there till 1 unless we get rained off. Just look for our big flag.
