Free log-books available to anyone using Manx waters
We are delighted to announce the release of our new project aimed at collecting offshore sightings data from the public in Manx territorial waters. With funding from Sea-Changers we have produced these sea users record books which we will be giving away free of charge to anyone who uses Manx waters for commercial or recreational purposes. It is extremely important that we hear about your sightings of porpoises, dolphins, whales and basking sharks to further our research into their temporal and spatial distribution.
Our sea users record books are perfect to stow away in the wheelhouse until needed; they contain a handy identification guide and room to fill out details of 40 sightings. They are small and have a plastic cover for protection. We are giving them away free to anyone, from fishermen to recreational boat users and kayakers. All we ask is that they are returned to us within 6 months of distribution.
Please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your name and address and we will send you out a copy.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to the conservation of cetaceans in Manx waters and a big thanks to Sea-Changers for supporting this project
